ಹೆಸರಿಲ್ಲದ ಮಳೆ

ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರು ಮರೆತುಹೋಗಿದೆ

ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮೋಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ

ಬರೆದಿಡುವ ಗೋಜಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಲವೂ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿದಾಗ

ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ

ಹೆಸರಿಲ್ಲದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ

ಅಣುಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾದ ಪಾಪತೆ.

ಎಂದೇ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರು

ಕಪ್ಪು ಕೊಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದರು

ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗವಿತ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು

ಜಲಜೋಪಾನವಾಗಿಡಲು.

"Nameless Rain"

The name of God was forgotten
because no one bothered
to write it on the clouds.
Every time it rains
upon us falls
the infinitesimal sin
of nameless vision.
Hence humans invented
black umbrellas
to keep their invisible name
impermeable.
