First created as a sound installation for the project "Holidays in Greece" curated by Vassiliea Stylianidou for the STUDIOvisits Project in Berlin (May 11-18, 2012). Subsequently it was performed with added improvisation at documenta 14 in Athens (September 20, 2016).
The repeated verse in Greek, reproduced here as an image, is best translated as "Social Struggles Are Not Announced" but in order to render the pun it is best rendered as "Public Struggles Are Not Publicized". The verse belongs to a poem by Stathis Gourgouris from his collection "Αυτοχθονίες" [Identicide], published in Athens in 1993.
